2 Gallon Antique Delpho's Galvanized Steel Kerosene Can with Bale Handle

Vintage galvanized metal kerosene, gas, or water can in very good shape! We found it in a barn where it had been stored away for decades. Made by the Delphos Manufacturing Company, the faded original label is still affixed to the side of the can with the company name and the words "Choice Cans" and "Hand Made". This one has a swinging bale handle and a charming, primitive looking spout. Both the caps for the filling hole and the spout are present. Great, original, weathered patina with worn, old red paint stripes around the perimeter of the very top as well as the top and bottom of the sides. No holes, dents, or significant structural issues. This is just as we found it, still dusty and crusty; it will clean up some. No smell of gas, kerosene, or oil inside.

This can measures about 11 1/4 inches tall from the tip of the spout to the bottom. With the handle in the carrying position, its overall height is about 13 1/2 inches. The can has a diameter of 8 1/4 inches. The bottom has some white corrosion and a small spot of rust, but there are no holes. the swing handle is a bit misshaped but it can be bent back in place. It still works fine. If you like county, rustic, farm style antiques, you'll love this little can! It will look great wherever you display it!
