Here's an antique wooden drying rack in very good condition! This is an old, original piece we found in a barn. There are 13 pegs, each of which are hand carved and show lots of age and wear from past use. There is a hole at each end for mounting to a wall. It's a great, primitive piece perfect for hanging hand-dipped candles, herbs, hats, corn cobs, clothes, keys, and just about anything else you can think of! It has a wonderful, rustic appearance with an original, dry patina! It measures 25 inches long and the pegs are about 3 1/4 inches long with some minor variation. They are joined to the wood plank with mortise & tenon joints and have been reenforced with glue. Why buy one of those newly made racks when you can have a wonderfully well-preserved antique one that is truly unique?! This one has a great look with an unspoiled, old patina! Two old forged nails are included for installation.
