Antique Cast Iron CHAMPION Tractor, Farm Implement Seat, Model 731A

Here's an original, antique, cast iron, CHAMPION tractor seat in as-found condition. We discovered this piece while picking antiques in an old barn here in Western New York this past autumn. It dates back to the 1890s and is has the marking "731-A" on the underside. This seat measures around 19 inches long and 16 1/2 inches wide; it weighs nearly 15 pounds. There is some old, weathered paint on the top side in and around the area where the name "CHAMPION" is cast in the metal. There are NO cracks or repairs in the iron. There's some very minor surface rust that would come off with a wire brush. There are no structural problems; this is extremely solid and rugged. This seat is a great-looking relic that displays well and would look great on the wall of a man cave! It's the real deal, not one of those reproductions. You won't be disappointed!
