Vintage 1950s Big Town Charley Punch Board; Warehouse Find; Never Used, New Old Stock Gambling Punchboard

Sorry, this item has sold.

Genuine Warehouse Find! Never-used vintage 1950s punchboard in very good condition! These were typically found in shops and bars and used as trade stimulators. A customer would pay a small price to punch a hole, hoping to win a prize. This particular punchboard is called "BIG TOWN CHARLEY BOARD" and was priced 25 cents per punch.

While some boards offered small prizes like cigarettes, candy, or even watches, this one paid off in cash. Inside the holes are tiny slips of paper or "Charley Seals" with numbers printed or awards on them. If the paper had one of the winning numbers shown on the advertising portion of the punchboard, they won $1. If they won a "Charley Seal", that seal had an award printed on it that ranged between $5 and $25. This punchboard is very well preserved; the metal punch piece is still there and is sealed in the back.

It measures 12 1/4" high by 9 1/8" wide by 3/4" thick. It displays wonderfully and is a cool, old, gambling piece! A nice deal for just $24! Wonderfully vivid colors and period look with only minor wear from decades of storage. You won't be disappointed!
