Vintage 1940s "TU POTS" 10 Cent Punch Board; NOS Warehouse Find; Never Used Old Stock Gambling, Casino Punchboard Game

Sorry, this item has sold.

Found in storage! This never-used vintage 1940s punchboard in very good condition! Punchboards were usually found in shops, fraternal organizations, social clubs, gambling establishments and bars and were used as trade stimulators. A customer would pay a small price to punch a hole, hoping to win a prize. This particular punchboard is called "TU POTS" and is priced 10 cents per punch. This board has 1000 holes and brought in $100.00 total. After payouts, the balance went to the establishment's owner as profit.

Inside each of the holes is a tiny slip of paper with numbers printed on it. Certain numbers bring prizes and other numbers bring better prizes. This punchboard is well-preserved and no holes have been punched. The metal punch tool is included in a small compartment in the back of the board. This punchboard measures 18" high by 12" wide by 1" thick. It displays wonderfully and is a cool, old, gambling piece! A nice deal for just $35! Bright colors with some minor shelf wear from decades of storage. Some cellophane on the edges has flaked off over the years but doesn't affect the structural integrity. A great piece of ephemera!
