Antique Primitive Wooden Firkin Lid; Sugar Bucket Cover, 19th Century

Here's an original, American, 19th Century lid to a firkin/sugar bucket in good, unrestored condition. It has a single finger band, old nails and is tight and secure. The interior diameter is 9 inches with an overall diameter of 9 3/4 inches. It has some imperfections but as the photos show, it's looks good and could be just what you need to complete your firkin! This was found in the barn of a woodworker who passed away more than a decade ago. He regularly worked on antique furniture and old wooden items. This cover is reasonably priced at $35.
