Antique HY-DUTY Dry Cell No. 6 Battery: Radio Ignition, General Purpose; Original, As Found

Sorry, this item has sold.

Original, 1920s HY-DUTY Dry Cell Battery No. 6 for Radio Ignition and All General Purposes. It was found in the attic of an early 1900s farmhouse near Niagara Falls, NY that was being cleaned out the same week we listed it here.

This old battery is well preserved and presumably without a charge as it has been hidden away for decades. We haven't been able to find another of this brand anywhere so it must be a scarce brand.

The label reads: "This dry cell is carefully manufactured under a new process and contains materials of the highest grade. Its quick recuperative properties, strong current. and high maintained voltage assures excellent reception when used for the "A" circuit for all dry cell vacuum tubes."

This piece displays very well and has a great period look! We only found one and are offering it here for just $24.00!
