Early Primitive Old Treen Pourer, Antique Carved Wooden One-Piece Noggin Creamer Pitcher

Sorry, this item has sold.

Here's a scarce piece of hand carved wooden treenware in excellent, as-found condition. Amazingly crafted from a single piece of wood, this pourer looks similar to modern day creamers. We believe it dates back to the early 19th Century, if not earlier. It has a fabulous, untouched, dry patina inside and out. It also has folksy, chip-carved decorations all the way around it; the handle is also decorated and has never been broken. This piece has no cracks, rot, infestation or other significant damage. This is a rare, museum quality item!
