Antique Country Primitive Carved Wooden Grain Scoop with Dark Patina

Here's a very primitive, antique, wooden grain scoop in very good condition! Well-preserved and hand-crafted, it has a wonderful, dark patina that shows plenty of age. This scoop is a bit different than others we have sold; it is partially carved with the sides and back made to fit, presumably to keep more grain in the scoop and less falling out. Those pieces were attached to the carved portion with small nails when it was originally made. The grain of the wood is very nice throughout and the surface shows wear from past use. The handle has a hole for hanging as well as an additional small hole someone added later. Overall, this scoop measures 12 inches long, 4 inches wide and 2 3/4 inches in depth. It's a very nice, original, untouched piece being offered just as we found it. Shipped promptly or pick up free from our Western New York location!
