Now here's a charming antique, tin coffee grinder in original, as-found condition! It has a wonderful, rustic appearance with its worn and weathered surface consisting of remnants of old paint and minor surface rust. Make no mistake, it's still a rugged and working grinder but how it has aged has turned it into a folksy, decorative piece. The metal is embossed on all four sides including the name "Elma" in the front. On top is a tin cover over the hopper, one side opens so coffee beans can be poured inside. The grinding mechanism still works; coffee grounds end up at the bottom inside a cute little drawer with original wooden knob. For sanitary purposes, we recommend using this mill for decor only. As for dimensions, this coffee grinder is 7 1/2 inches tall overall, while the box portion is 5 inches square. This piece is exactly as we found it; nothing has been done to alter its appearance. Certainly, it's a wonderful accent piece for the kitchen but it can be displayed with other antiques just about anywhere for a fabulous country touch!
