Primitive Vintage Hand Carved Wooden Maple Sugar Candy Mold; Butter, Cookie Press

Here's an absolutely charming, hand carved, wooden, maple sugar mold for making maple sugar candies! It features a rooster, a boar, and three flower patterns that each measure about 2 inches by 2 inches. The entire piece is 13 3/8 inches long by about 2 1/2 inches by 5/8 inches thick. The surface has a very nice, smooth patina with nice graining and rich coloring. It has a great, country kitchen look and would display wonderfully! In addition to maple sugar candy, molds like these also were used to shape butter and cookies! It's a very nice item at a very good price!
