Here's a scarce, never-used, vintage seed packet from the Crosman Seed Co. of East Rochester, NY. It features a colorfully detailed lithographed image of three pumpkins, along with a pumpkin pie! It's a never-filled seed packet that was meant to hold Small Sugar or Pie Pumpkin seeds for the 1972 season! It's actually dated 1970 on the back but re-dated 1972 in the front. This variety of pumpkin had a 115-day growing period, according to the package. The reverse side has detailed directions for planting.
This packet is in excellent condition and free of tears, stains, or creases. Old packets from the Crosman Seed Co. are very hard to find. The company was established in 1838 and at one time was the largest seed house in the country. Looks great when framed and matted and hung on a kitchen wall! It's a unique, 50-year-old packet you'll likely only find with us! Here's a chance to add it to your collection! Same postage no matter how many you buy!
