Here's an original and completely intact issue of The American Magazine, the March, 1913 issue in very good condition. This magazine has a beautiful and colorful cover painted by Blendon Campbell. It's entitled " 'Rithmetic", featuring a young girl sitting by a window, doing her schoolwork. The magazine features a wealth of stories, articles, columns, poetry, illustrations, and advertising. 138 pages with both covers, clean, unstained and well-preserved. There are quite few illustrations by James Montgomery Flagg along with a feature he wrote, and it includes a caricature of himself. Advertising includes Tiffany & Co., Goodyear, Texaco, Diamond Tires, Edison Mazda Lamps, Peter's Milk Chocolate, Eastman Kodak, Fairy Soap, Wrigley's Gum, Southern Railway, Kelly-Springfield Tires, Colgate, and many more. Great insight to what the country was like, back in 1913! A very nice 111-year-old magazine that somehow survived! Minor signs of age. You won't be disappointed in this!
