Antique Primitive Forged Iron Branding Iron for Cattle; Letter 'P'

Now here's something you don't run into every day! This is an early 1900s cattle branding iron in very good, original condition. Made of forged iron by a blacksmith with the letter 'P', it has a wooden handle. It measures 14 1/4 inches long and the letter 'P' is 4 3/4 inches long by 2 5/8 inches wide. It was likely put in a fire to heat up before branding a bull or cow. It's a great item for those who like Western collectibles or maybe have a ranch.
