Here's a pretty scarce Federal Telephone & Telegraph Company sign in relic condition. It was pulled out of Lake Erie, in Buffalo NY, where it spent decades under water. A portion of it is missing and it has rust and damaged porcelain. However, it is a two -sided sign that still has red, white and blue graphics that are still pleasing to the eye. The sign advertises independent service, both local and long distance. It also indicated the presence of a Pay Station. It now measures 17 3/4 inches high by 12 1/2 inches wide and shows plenty of age and wear. If you like olds signs with real patina, it doesn't get much better than this!
