Group of 8 different Victorian Cabinet Cards featuring Children, Infants; 19th Century Photographs; Portraits

$28.00

Very cute collection of 8 different cabinet cards from the 19th Century. Each of these authentic, 19th Century photographs are portraits of young children. Children were difficult to photograph in the 1800s due to short attention span and the long exposure times of the cameras of the day. Photographers of this lot include: Lehn Kering of Rochester, NY; Conkey & Hibbart of Glens Falls, NY; J.A. Rider, of Wellsville, NY; Lee Stearns of Wilkes Barre, PA.; J. Claw & Son of Potsdam, NY; W. Busse of Morrisania, NY; Duryea Studios of Warsaw, NY; and L.L. Volkmore of Massillon, Ohio.
Great furniture and period clothing! They are all in very good condition to excellent condition, there are no creases or missing pieces. There's only a bit of age, so they display very well. Each measures about 4 1/4" by 6 1/2". Nice lot!
