Large Antique Country Primitive Wooden Breadboard! As Found, Old Original Untouched Patina; Premium Quality!

Outstanding, large, antique, hand-crafted wooden breadboard in as-found, untouched condition! This is an exceptionally well-preserved piece with rich, warm coloring and wonderful wear patterns, making it a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind, early 20th Century piece. It has a 19 5/8-inch diameter, but its overall length is about 22 1/2 inches when including the handle. It is just over an inch thick and is quite hefty. Kitchen boards make wonderful wall decorations for country kitchens and can also serve as part of a centerpiece on farm tables. It's important to note that this is an original, antique board that was hand made for use as a bread board, and NOT one of those newly made from old wood and/or artificially aged. The beauty of an antique piece such as this is not only the result of their primitive handmade origins, but also because of their imperfections and signs of use. This big breadboard (or bread riser) is unique and shows visible wear, stains, grooves, color variations, blackening, and grunge from years of use generations ago. Every sign of age and use tells a story. We are offering this for wall and table decor and don't recommend use or direct contact with food unless cleaned, scrubbed and treated with mineral oil first. Oiling it up will bring out even warmer coloring and graining detail. It's just as we found it though, unaltered and untouched condition. Dirty and dusty, it spent generations in forgotten storage.
