Antique Country Primitive Wooden Clock Box with Dry, Original Patina! Old Hanging Wall Box

Here's folksy, wooden, antique clock box in very good, well-preserved condition. Primitive and rustic, this piece is a recent find and being offered here for the first time. Handmade long ago, it's just as it was found, still dusty and a bit dirty but full of charm and character! This piece has a wonderful, untouched old surface with a dry patina and nice graining. It's meant to house a small alarm clock but looks great with any small old item on display inside. It has a little door with glass in which to access the clock or whatever else kept inside. The door is made with crude, hand cut half-lap joints.
This piece can be hung on a wall or displayed on a shelf or tabletop. (We took a few photos showing it with an old tooth powder tin displayed inside; it is not included.) This box measures 6 3/4 inches high, 5 3/8 inches long, and about 4 5/8 inches wide (deep). Made from pine planks, there is no plywood in this piece. It's well-preserved and has all the charms of old wood but is not infested with active woodworms or termites. Solid, rugged, and tight, it is not in any danger of falling apart.
