Antique Country Primitive Wooden Clock Box with Folk Paint Decorations! Old Hanging Wall Box

Outstanding, vintage, wooden, clock box in very good, well-preserved condition. Primitive and rustic, this piece is a recent find and being offered here for the first time. Handmade long ago, it's just as it was found, still a bit dusty but full of charm and character! This piece has wonderful old paint with an old patina along with whimsical, folk art decorations. It's meant to house a small alarm clock but looks great with any small old item on display inside. It has a piece of glass that opens in the front by sliding it up in built in grooves.
This piece can be hung on a wall or displayed on a shelf or tabletop. (We took a few photos showing it with an old alarm clock displayed inside; it is not included.) This box measures 9 5/8 inches high, 6 3/8 inches long, and about 3 3/4 inches wide (deep). Made from pine planks, there is no plywood in this piece. It's well-preserved and has all the charms of old wood but is not infested with active woodworms or termites. Solid, rugged, and tight, it is not in any danger of falling apart.
