Antique Country Primitive Wooden Clock Box with Old Paint

Here's a cute, wooden, antique clock box in very good, well-preserved condition. Primitive and rustic, this piece was found in an old farmhouse and was handmade long ago. It is just as it was found, still dusty and a bit dirty but full of charm and character! This piece has a wonderful, old, dry patina and is grain painted in the front, adding a touch of whimsy. It's meant to house as small alarm clock or pocket watch and can be hung on a wall. However, we think it would look fabulous with a bird's nest inside! The entire front of the box removes easily by sliding upward in built in grooves/channels in order to install or wind up the clock or watch. It measures 7 7/8 inches high, 6 inches long, and 3 inches wide (deep). Made of from planks, there is no plywood in this piece. It's well-preserved and free of woodworms, termites, rot or other damage. Guaranteed old and authentic, this old, one-of-a-kind wall box will add a touch of country goodness wherever it is displayed!
