Antique Country Primitive Wooden Clock Box with Old Paint; Hanging Wall Box

Primitive and rustic, this piece is a recent find and fresh to the market! Handmade long ago, it's just as it was found, still dusty and a bit dirty but full of charm and character! This piece has a wonderful, untouched old surface with reddish-brown paint. It was meant to house a small alarm clock but looks great with any small old item on display inside. It has a hinged door to access the clock that it once held. The door is made with mortise & tenon joints and wooden pegs instead of nails!

This piece can be hung on a wall or displayed on a shelf or tabletop. (We took a few photos showing it with an old baking powder displayed inside; it is not included.) It measures 8 3/4 inches high, 5 1/2 inches long, and about 5 inches wide (deep). Made from pine planks with dovetail joints, there is no plywood in this piece. It's well-preserved and has all the charms of old wood but is not infested with active woodworms or termites. Solid, rugged, and tight, it is not in any danger of falling apart.
