Antique Carved Wooden Wash Paddles, 19th Century Battledores

Carved wooden wash paddles from the 19th Century! Sometimes called battledores, these were used to beat clothing against a rock or other hard surface, often times along a creek or stream. They have great coloring and show age with a super patina. They are available with their dusty, as found surface or waxed and oiled. They look nice displayed in an old dough bowl! $34 each.
