Here's an old, wooden, cranberry scoop in good condition. It's right out of an old barn and shows plenty of age and signs of use. This early 20th Century scoop has 13 carved, wooden teeth, two of which broken from rigorous use in its past. It measures 10 inches long, 5 inches wide and about 2 1/4 inches deep. Just as we found it, this piece has an old, untouched patina and all the charms of old wood including rich color, a grungy surface, wormholes, and nice graining. It's still dusty and a bit dirty from generations of storage. The handle has a hole for hanging on a nail or hook. It's unlike all the newer scoops found for sale today; this early example was made by hand. Its imperfections tell a story and add to its charm. There's no plywood in this piece. It's a nice, primitive, old tool that's ready for display among other antiques or unique accent pieces!
