Antique Primitive Wooden Cranberry Scoop, Early Berry Picker

Here's an old, wooden, cranberry scoop in very good condition! It's right out of an old barn and shows plenty of age and signs of use. This early 20th Century scoop has 16 carved, wooden teeth, none broken and each one unique. It measures 11 inches long, 6 1/2 inches wide and about 2 1/2 inches deep. Just as we found it, this piece has an old, dry, untouched patina along with rich color, nice graining and carving detail. It's still dusty and a bit dirty from generations of storage. It's unlike all the newer scoops found for sale today; this early example was made by hand. Its irregularities and imperfections tell a story and add to its charm. There's no plywood in this piece. It's a nice, primitive, old tool that's ready for display among other antiques or unique accent pieces!
