Here's a great, old advertising item to decorate your home! This is an original wooden crate cover that advertises Frank Siddalls Soap! It dates back to about 1895 or so and claims to be the "Best Soap in the World"! It has a great, intact lithograph that features a man giving an old copper boiler a kick as his wife washes clothes with a washboard and tub. He's celebrating not having to boil water for laundry because Frank Siddalls Soap "Does away with the Wash Boiler Nuisance." It measures 16 1/4 inches long by 10 1/2 inches high and can be hung on the wall like a sign. It has great, Victorian Period graphics and while it shows some age as one might expect, it is in very good condition overall. The label is sound, secure, and stable. This item is guaranteed old and authentic! Great decor, especially for a laundry room, kitchen, or bathroom!
