Vintage Firestone Advertising Tire Ashtray

Here’s a vintage Firestone advertising ashtray, designed to resemble a tire.
These ashtrays were produced by Firestone, and sometimes U.S. Tire Company, as promotional items, particularly during the early 20th century and later to commemorate exhibitions.
This ashtray has a rubber tire-shaped base with “Firestone” on both sides along
with a red and black Bakelite insert for cigarette ashes within. The tire has a few typical welts from coming in contact with hot ashes. Displays very well and a good deal at $18.00
