Vintage 1920s Pumpkin Seed Packet, Card Seed Co. Fredonia, NY

Here's an exceptionally scarce vintage seed packet in never-used condition. From the Card Seed Company of Fredonia, NY, this packet was among a big warehouse find some years ago. While there are other fruits and vegetable packets of the same style available, this pumpkin seed packet is among the most difficult to find anymore. It features a lithographed image of a large round Field Pumpkin variety of which the seeds this packet was meant to hold. Not only are Field Pumpkins edible, they are also usually large and round, making them great for jack-o'-lanterns. This packet is new old stock, never used. The pumpkin has rich, vivid color and the packet is in good shape, showing just a little age. It never was filled with seeds. It's a wonderful, old work of art ready to be framed!
