Vintage Metal Advertising Thermometer: Kabbe's Hardware, Chicago Illinois

Here's a vintage 1960s metal advertising thermometer in very good condition. It advertises Kabbe's Hardware, at 2550 W. Diversey Ave., in Chicago which is out of business now. It also advertises Dutch Boy Paints and Brown Sharpe Precision Tools. The phone number at the bottom reads "BR. 8-4028. This thermometer is made of steel, has very good paint, and is free of rust. It has a very small imperfection on the right edge as pictured. The back is clean but has some tiny nicks. Doesn't look like it was ever mounted as the holes for hanging show no damage or wear. The glass thermometer tube is intact, working, and appears to be quite accurate. Very clean with bright colors and is ready to be hung a wall. Nice, well-preserved piece of vintage advertising! Dimensions 13" high, 3-5/8" wide.
