Pair of Antique Pattern Glass Boots; Original Old Candy Containers

Two matching antique glass candy containers in very good condition. These are a pair of pattern glass boots that resemble cowboy or Santa boots. They were popular in the 1940s and were sold with candy inside at dime stores. Each measures about 3 1/4 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches long, with an opening diameter of around 1 1/2 inches at the top. Found in forgotten storage and well preserved, these glass candy containers are charming and nicely detailed. They have all the charms of old pattern glass including straw marks and tiny bubbles. One has a very small chip in the underside of the front of the boot that is not readily apparent unless looking for it. Other shapes and sizes of old candy containers can be found and are wonderful to collect. $24 pair.
