Here's a very cute, miniature padlock from the early 1900s in very good condition. It was made by the Eagle Lock Company, of Terryville, Connecticut, a well-known manufacturer of locks, particularly trunk and cabinet locks, from the mid-1800s until the mid 1970s. This little lock has no key but is rather ornate with 'Eagle" embossed on the front. It's a bit dirty but will clean up some, there is some wear to its original paint. It measures 1 3/8" in height and is 1" wide. It is only 5/16" thick. Its size makes it a cool item to put on a chain as a necklace!
