Original refill pack of drink mixes for the Whiz Fizz Soda Fountain, produced by Kenner from 1963 - 1968. This toy allowed children to act as a "soda jerk" by making their own fizzy drinks at home. Users would fill the toy fountain with water, add one of these pre-sweetened flavor packets and push the glass against a spring filler to automatically measure the powder. The mix creates an instant bubbling and foaming effect without needing to be stirred. Fizzy drink mixes were all the rage at this time.
This is an original display card with three mixes still in their original pouches. This was part of a hanging display of dozens which were stapled together, hanging from store shelved. Purchasers would pull one off the display when buying it. This piece has illustrations of the soda fountain and kids holding fizzy drinks. The back says "Kenner Products", Cincinnati 2, Ohio (just before Zip Codes were introduced in 1963). It's in excellent, never used, never opened condition! Rare and nearly impossible to find! Don't miss out on this scarce item!
