Vintage Cremax Bordette Teacups and Saucers, by MacBeth-Evans , with fluted edges, your choice of blue, yellow, or green. These dishes are from the Depression era, typically manufactured between 1938 and 1944.

Manufacturer and Pattern: Made by MacBeth-Evans in the "Cremax Bordette" pattern.

Material: They are made of Cremax milk glass (an opaque ivory/cream colored glass) with a fired-on color border.

Era: These are considered vintage depression glass from the 1930s and 1940s.

These are authentic milk glass teacups and saucer sets that glow under black light due to Uranium oxide in the glass composition. The fluted edges are a ribbed, shell-like pattern around the outside of the cups and the edges of the saucers and there's a round rimmed pattern on the bottoms of each. They are unmarked.

The saucers are 6 1/8" across. The cups are 3 3/4" across the top and 2 1/4" tall.

Each set is in excellent, vintage preowned condition with only very light wear as illustrated in the pictures. They have been stored away in a china cabinet for decades. They look fabulous on display!
