$52.00

Vintage set of 4 Cremax Bordette dinner plates, by MacBeth-Evans, with fluted edges, in blue, yellow, pink, and green. These dishes are from the Depression era, typically manufactured between 1938 and 1944.

Manufacturer and Pattern: Made by MacBeth-Evans in the "Cremax Bordette" pattern.

Material: They are made of Cremax milk glass (an opaque ivory/cream colored glass) with a fired-on color border.

Era: They are considered vintage depression glass from the 1930s and 1940s.

These are authentic milk glass dinner plates that glow under black light due to Uranium oxide in the composition of the glass. The fluted edges are a shell-like pattern that add character and charm. Each plate has a 9-inch diameter. They are unmarked.

Each set is in excellent, vintage preowned condition with only very light wear as illustrated in the pictures. They have been stored away in a china cabinet for decades. They display very well and are more difficult to find than Fiestaware!
