1933 TUCO PICTURE PUZZLE: "Moonlit Waters" LG02, Early Tuco Jigsaw

$24.00

Here is an early Tuco Picture Puzzle in its original box, in excellent condition! The very first Tuco Puzzle boxes featured bold, Art Deco-inspired patterns as this one does. These lids were covered in a mosaic of shapes—like triangles, trapezoids, and interlocking puzzle pieces—rendered in eye-catching combinations of black, red, blue, and silver. The box this puzzle is in is identified as (McCann Code) LG02, for you advanced collectors. The puzzle in this box features a painting called "Moonlit Waters" by J. Ottenfeld, from 1929. Tuco offered this one as part of their Deluxe Series and it has 357 pieces. This 93-year-old puzzle still has its original paperwork inside. The puzzle pieces are in clean, remarkable condition. It looks as if nobody ever assembled it! We guarantee it to be complete. The box is intact and very good with minor shelf wear. A very nice early TUCO puzzle for any collection!
