Here's an unopened bar of "Baker's German's Sweet Cooking & Eating Chocolate" in very good condition. That's right, vintage unused chocolate that dates between 1957 and 1959. It's sweetened dark baking chocolate containing 48% cacao. It contains a higher ratio of sugar than standard semisweet or bittersweet baking chocolate. This product was developed in 1852 by Samuel German who formulated it with the sugar already mixed in to save baker's time. The wrapper of this bar is in very good condition with vivid colors and no tears. It has some small signs of age. The chocolate bar inside has no breaks still completely wrapped with no exposure. It's a great, unopened 1950s food product that displays well and would look nice among other vintage country store or grocery items! Measures 5 1/4" L by 2 3/4" W and is 1/2" thick. *Consumption not recommended.
