Vintage 1930s tools and hardware catalog in good condition. H.D. Taylor Co of Buffalo, New York was a behemoth of a company that sold everything under the sun in the hardware, tools, and industrial supplies business. It also sold automotive supplies and parts, contractors' supplies, and sanitary and janitor supplies and equipment. This 386-page illustrated catalog contains an incredible selection of hand tools, power tools, hardware, block/tackle, hoists, vises, casters, welding equipment, shears, and so much more. They even carried bikes and Lionel trains! H.D. Taylor Company was in business from 1833 until 1969. This catalog is not only a fabulous collectible for those interested in this type of merchandise, it is a valuable reference guide too! It is hardcover and is orange with black lettering. All pages are intact and not torn or seriously stained or otherwise damaged. The book has a bit of a musty smell from having been stored in a basement file cabinet. We are working on mitigating the odor. It measures 11 by 8 3/4" by 1". It is a nice piece of history and is reasonably priced at $32.
