1932 TUCO PICTURE PUZZLE: "Following the Hounds" LG01, Early Tuco Jigsaw

Here's an early Tuco Picture Puzzle in its original box, in very good condition! The very first Tuco Puzzle boxes featured bold, Art Deco-inspired patterns as this one does. The lid is covered in a mosaic of shapes—like triangles and trapezoids, rendered in eye-catching combinations of black, red, blue, and silver. The box this puzzle is in is identified as (McCann Code) LG01, for you advanced collectors. The puzzle inside features a painting called "Following the Hounds" by Frank Algernon Stewart (1877–1945), featuring an English fox hunting scene.

This is one of the first 12 puzzles (#7) Tuco made and introduced in 1932 for the fall and Christmas season. Now 94-years-old, it still has its original paper insert inside. There are over 350 puzzle pieces that are in clean, bright, and remarkable condition with tan backing. It looks almost as if nobody ever assembled it! We guarantee it to be complete, and it comes with a photo to show what is looks when put together. The box is intact and very good with some shelf wear. We bought a bunch of Tuco puzzles from a collector who passed away. In 2014, he bought this very puzzle for $78.77 on Ebay! A very nice early TUCO puzzle for any collection!
