Here is an antique colonial tin candle mold in very good shape. It dates to the 1800s and has a finger handle with hand-soldered seams. It's a six-tube mold that makes 10-inch-long tapered candles. Prior to electricity, every home had one of these. Its overall height is 10 3/8 inches and the base is 4 inches long by 2 7/8 inches wide. The patina is original and does not have rust or corrosion. It shows age and signs of use. It's just as we found it, still a bit dusty and dirty from decades of storage. It's full of primitive charm and displays nicely on fireplace hearths, mantles, early cupboards, and among other colonial antiques. Here's a chance to decorate your home with an important 19th Century household item at a reasonable price!
