Vintage Hustler Brand California Bartlett Pears Label: Unused 1930s Wooden Fruit Crate Label

Original, never used fruit crate label advertising Hustler Brand Bartlett Pears from California! It measures 11" long by 7 7/8" high and features a newsboy holding up a paper that reads: "Extra", "California Bartletts". It was printed by Schmidt Litho. Co. of San Francisco and has vivid, unfaded black, blue, red, orange, gray and white colors. Labels like this one were affixed to the ends of wooden produce crates to advertise the product and where it came from. Now very collectible, they look great framed and matted, as part of collages, and, glued on a piece of old wood. Jazz up a plain, old wooden box by adding this label on one of the ends! Might be a slight discoloration on the back that is not visible from the front. We will pack with extra care including cardboard to prevent the label from being folded during shipment.
