Wooden Tavern Tankards

No primitive woodenware collection is complete without a wooden tankard! Made of staved pine with metal bands it dates back to the later 18th to early 19th Centuries and are well-preserved. Great, dry, worn patina with rich coloring and nice graining. Wonderful one-piece handle was carved by hand and is part of a stave. It strongly resembles tankards from the Revolutionary War period.
