Here's a fabulous, somewhat rusty, crusty, old coffee grinder with a great, farmhouse look! It's straight from the barn and is exactly as we found it, we haven't even dusted it off!
It dates back to the 1920's and was made by the ELMA S.A. Co., with the name ELMA embossed on the front of the case. The grinding mechanism still works though the hopper is missing part of the cover. The metal has light surface rust along with hints of old brown and black paint on the body and old dark green paint on the remaining part of the hopper cover, all of which contributes to its fabulous, rustic appearance!
This mill measures 5 1/2 inches long, 5 1/4 inches wide and about 7 1/4 inches high, including the grinding arm. It's structurally sound, still sturdy and not falling apart. If you like to decorate your kitchen with country antiques and untouched primitives, you'll love this original, weathered, as-found piece!
