Here's an original poster advertising the auction sale of farm animals and truck from a small dairy that was located near Bradford, Pennsylvania. The auction was held on November 8th, 1941 and the poster reads:
" On account of not being able to hire help I am forced to offer the following for auction.
Cows T.B. and Bangs Tested
17 Cows - Fresh and Springers
1 Bull - Ayershire
1 Veal Calf
1 Calf 5 months old
1 Team Horses
1 Pure Blood Belgium Mare
1 Ford panel Truck 1940 - Small Mileage"
The poster is printed on card stock and measures 8 1/2" by 11". It shows age but is in very good shape and displays nicely. It would look great in an old, rustic frame. This small dairy only operated for a short time and was forced to shut down because of WW2. Milk bottles from this farm are also available by inquiry.
