Antique Large, Lacy, & Layered Victorian Valentine Card, Unsigned with Original 1906 Stamped Envelope; Vintage Valentine's Day Unused Card

Sorry, this item has sold.

Absolutely beautiful early 1900s Victorian Valentine card in very good, unsigned condition! It has a layered, lacy design with die cut edges and small decorations attached. The inside is very clean, without any stains, and no writing whatsoever. There is an illustration inside of a tree with some birds along with poem in red that reads:

A Valentine I sent
My soul with thine to blend,
In rapture sweet.
And whether far or near,
My love goes with it dear,
Thy love to greet..

The back of the card is unwritten on and clean. The card has only minor wear. Despite not having any signature, this card was received by someone. The original envelope with stamp and Feb. 13, 1906 postmark is included. Both would look great if framed and matted. This 111-year-old card would also make a wonderful Valentine for someone special in your life!
