Here’s a folksy, antique picture frame we found in an old barn while hunting antiques in Romania! It’s an old, lap-jointed wooden frame that is covered in a composition-type material. It was explained to us that when it was still soft, beans were pressed into the composition material. After drying out, the bean were removed, creating the tramp art look that it has. Measuring 10 1/2” by 8 3/4” overall, the opening is 6 3/8” by 3 3/8”. It’s a great looking piece that would make a fabulous mirror!
