Vintage NOS 1920s Petroliana Can: Kasson Waterproof Grease, mfgd. by Enterprise Oil Co., Buffalo, NY

Original unused can of Kasson Waterproof Grease in excellent condition. Made by Enterprise Oil Company (est. 1884) in Buffalo, NY, this new old stock container of grease dates from the 1920s and was found in a barn we cleaned out. It's still full and is a very rare petroleum collectible not often found anymore. It reads: "This can contains 1/4 lb Kasson Waterproof Grease. Used throughout the world for over 40 years. Provides absolutely certain lubrication in the presence of water." This product was
"Sold also in 1 pound cans and 25 pound Service Station Pails." There is no rust and the paint is well preserved; only shelf wear from the decades of sitting undisturbed in the old barn from where it was found. Scarce!
