Genuine Warehouse Find! Never-used vintage 1930s punchboard in excellent condition! These were found in shops and bars and used as trade stimulators. A customer would pay a small price to punch a hole, hoping to win a prize. This particular punchboard is called "PREMIUM PRIZES" and was priced 25 cents per punch.
While some boards offered small prizes like cigarettes, candy, or even watches, this one paid off in cash. Inside the holes are tiny slips of paper with numbers printed on them. If the paper had one of the winning numbers shown on the advertising portion of the punchboard, they won a "jackpot" that ranged between 25 cents and $15.00. This punchboard is very well preserved and no holes have been punched. In fact, the metal punch piece is still enclosed in the back.
It measures 12 1/4" long by 10" high by 7/8" thick. It displays wonderfully and is a cool, old, gambling piece! A nice deal for just $24! Wonderfully vivid colors and period look with only very minor wear from decades of storage. You won't be disappointed!
