Vintage 1930s LU-LU BOARD 5 Cent Punch Board; Warehouse Find; Never Used, New Old Stock Gambling Punchboard

Sorry, this item has sold.

Warehouse Find! This never-used vintage 1930s punchboard is in excellent condition! These were typically made available in shops, bars, social clubs, etc and used as trade stimulators. A customer would pay a small fee to punch a hole for a chance to win a prize. This particular punchboard is called "LU-LU BOARD" and was priced 5 cents per punch, boasting an 80% payout.

While some boards offered small prizes like cigarettes, candy, or even watches, this one paid off in cash. (It does say "All Awards Paid in Trade" just to make it appear everything was legal.) Inside the holes are tiny slips of paper with numbers printed on them. If the number on the paper ended in one of the winning numbers shown on the advertising portion of the punchboard, they won either a 40 cent or $1.00 prize. This punchboard is like new and very well preserved; no holes have been punched.

It measures 10 7/8"" high by 10 1/2" long by 1" thick. It displays wonderfully and is a cool, old, gambling piece! A nice deal for just $24! Gorgeous, vivid colors and fabulous period look with only minor wear from decades of storage. Satisfaction assured!
