1961 Mrs. Butterworth’s Amber Glass Syrup Bottle; Original Early Version

Original, amber glass Mrs. Butterworth’s Syrup bottle from 1961, the first year it was introduced. It measures 8 inches tall and still has its original metal twist-on cap. The base of the bottle has a 2 3/4 inch diameter and has “61” embossed in it. In the photos with two bottles, you can compare the differences in this 1961 bottle (on the left) and a later 1960s bottle. This early bottle is a rare one among all glass Mrs. Buttersworth bottles which are pieces of American pop culture history. No chips or cracks! $59
