Adorable vintage 1920s empty, one pound tin pail, complete with original cover and wire bail handle. It features charming lithograph graphics of a little boy reaching for presumably what is a peanut butter sandwich offered by the little girl. The tin is marked SULTANA PEANUT BUTTER, The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, New York. It shows age and wear on the surface but as the photos show, it still displays well and isn't rusted. It measures 4 1/8 inches high with a bottom diameter of 3 inches, increasing to 4 inches at the top. This peanut butter pail is a scarce collectible that managed to survive when most were thrown away after use!
