The salt glaze crock dates back to the 19th Century and is tall and slender and may better be described as a stoneware jar. It measures 8 inches high with a 5 3/4 inch diameter. It isn't cracked; there isn't a cover; there are two old chips on the bottom edge that are not significant structurally.

Also included, three hand carved wooden spoons to display inside! These spoons are also more than a century old and were hand crafted, not machine made. They have great, original patina and show age and wear. They range from 12 to 14 inches long and have loads of character. Displayed together, its makes for a unique piece of kitchen decor!
