One of my favorites! Authentic, early 1900s Edison and Columbia Talking Machine cylinder record cases in very good condition! These were found in an attic where they had been stored away for generations! They have fantastic graphics, including Thomas Edison's photograph or Lady Columbia holding a flag. Edison Gold Moulded Records/Edison Records were sold by National Phonograph Co., of Orange, NJ while the Columbia records are from the Columbia Phonograph Company. These boxes are pre-1910 heavy-duty cardboard tube-shaped cases, complete with covers. They are cotton-lined to protect the wax cylinder records they once held. (These may or may not have a cylinder still inside. We are selling them as boxes but some will have the record anyway, as a bonus.) Now, these ornate advertising pieces make fabulous decor, no matter where displayed! Sure to be loved by music aficionados, antique collectors, history buffs, decorators, and anyone who likes unique, old stuff! Lots of reuse possibilities with these! About 4 1/2" high, 2 3/4" diameter. Complete case $13.00. Edison cases missing cover available for $8.00. Low shipping! Limited supply, order today!
