Sorry, this item has sold.

This is a vintage Lindgren-Turner water-slide decal souvenir from the state of West Virginia. It's old stock, never been used and is in excellent condition, complete in its original glassine sleeve. It dates from the 1950s or early 60s and features a map of the state with cities, mountain ranges, products its famous for and illustrations of historical figures from there. It has bright, vivid colors common to all the souvenir decals popular at that time. These were often affixed to suitcases, car bumpers, camper windows, and such, after a visit to the featured location. The envelope offers complete directions on how to affix the decal. These are a disappearing form of Americana as the company went out of business in the early 1970s.
