Antique Men's Straight Razor, Felt Pad Razor Works, St Louis, MO. Anseptic Celluloid

This is an antique men's straight razor still in the original case. It dates from the early 1900s and has a smooth black celluloid handle or "scales" and a rat tail at the end. There are no cracks, chips or breaks to the handle. The face of the blade is marked "Anseptic" and is free of rust or significant pitting or defects. The tang is marked: "Pat. April 25, '05" on one side, and Felt Pad Razor Works, St. Louis, MO." on the other side. The original felt is still inside the scales. The box is in good shape and is intact with just a little corner wear. It also is marked "Felt Pad Razor Works St. Louis, MO." as well as "Anseptic, Warranted". Razor and case are in very good shape with minor and typical wear from past use and storage. It was found in a trunk in the attic of an old farmhouse and is being offered for sale for the first time.
