Here is a vintage water-slide decal souvenir from the state of Nebraska. It's old stock, never been used and is in excellent condition, complete in its original glassine sleeve. It dated 1951 and features a map of the state with notable cities and highlights of what the state was famous for. It has bright, vivid colors common to all the souvenir decals popular at that time. These were often affixed to suitcases, car bumpers, camper windows, scrapbooks and such, after a visit to the featured location. The back of the paper holding the decal offers complete directions on how to affix it. This one is marked Ozark Gift House although looks very similar to water slide decals from Lindgren Turner Co. These are a disappearing form of Americana not often found anymore.
